Community

PSU Jax partnered with Challenge Enterprises for our 2nd Annual Beach Clean Up.  We collected over 30 pounds of trash. We heard many WE ARE's as we cleaned up the beach and plenty of Thank You's from the locals.  Giving back to our Community is a priority for our Chapter.

Philanthropy

Our Board and fellow alumni volunteered for the fourth annual dinner at the Gabriel House of Care in January 2025.   This wonderful facility provides affordable lodging to adult cancer and transplant patients and their caregivers.  Every patient and their caregiver personally thanked us for the meal that we prepared.   This year, we had a "graduate" from the Gabriel House who came back to volunteer after his successful transplant from 9 years ago. 

Social

PENN STATE knows how to get social!   Our Football Watch Parties are legendary and hugely popular.  But did you know that we also held events at the Jacksonville Icemen, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Summer Happy Hours in 3 locations?   Get ready for an action packed 2025 with much, much more!

From our annual Student Send-Off—where seasoned alumni, recent grads, and parents come together to share stories and support future Nittany Lions—to year-round events and service projects, we’re all about connection, pride, and purpose.

Scholarship

In January 2025, PSU Jax launched the PSU Jax Student Scholarship Fund, the first-ever scholarship fund for our chapter. The Penn State community is more than a network; it’s a family dedicated to making a difference. In Northeast Florida, we support one another, celebrate our shared values, and expand Penn State’s impact locally.

The PSU Jax Scholarship helps local students achieve their dream of a Penn State education, fostering pride and unity among alumni. Together, we aim to grow the Penn State legacy in Northeast Florida and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
