Community
PSU Jax partnered with Challenge Enterprises for a Beach Clean Up on Earth Day. The Vice Mayor of Jacksonville Beach joined us as well! We had a great turnout and collected many bags of trash. After we were done picking up trash, we gathered at Sneakers for some refreshments. It was a terrific day. Giving back to our Community is a priority for our Chapter.
Philanthropy
Our Board and fellow alumni volunteered for the fourth annual dinner at the Gabriel House of Care in January 2025. This wonderful facility provides affordable lodging to adult cancer and transplant patients and their caregivers. Every patient and their caregiver personally thanked us for the meal that we prepared. This year, we had a "graduate" from the Gabriel House who came back to volunteer after his successful transplant from 9 years ago.
Social
PENN STATE knows how to get social! Our Football Watch Parties are legendary and hugely popular. But did you know that we also held events at the Jacksonville Icemen, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Summer Happy Hours in 3 locations? Get ready for an action packed 2025 with much, much more!
Membership
We stay connected with all Penn Staters, whether they are alumni, friends of Penn State, students or PSU Parents. Our goal is to connect with anyone who loves Penn State. We have many active committees and are looking to grow them with interested members. Our committees include Social, Community Outreach/Philanthropic, Membership and Social Media/Public Relations. Contact us if you have an interest in volunteering your time!

Scholarship
In January 2025, PSU Jax launched the PSU Jax Student Scholarship Fund, the first-ever scholarship fund for our chapter. The Penn State community is more than a network; it’s a family dedicated to making a difference. In Northeast Florida, we support one another, celebrate our shared values, and expand Penn State’s impact locally.
The PSU Jax Scholarship helps local students achieve their dream of a Penn State education, fostering pride and unity among alumni. Together, we aim to grow the Penn State legacy in Northeast Florida and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
